Haj Ibrahim Abd-El Aziz
Founder • First Generation

A family-built Egyptian maritime and petroleum services group delivering shipping agency, offshore support, logistics, and port operations across Egypt.
Founded in 1972 • Alexandria, Egypt
Max Marine traces its origins to 1972, when Haj Ibrahim Abd-El Aziz established the business near Abu Qir Port. The company began by supporting petroleum-service vessels with food supply, vessel provisioning, and practical field assistance along the Egyptian coast.
That early work shaped the group’s operating culture: fast response, direct accountability, and dependable support for clients working under real operational pressure.
After Haj Ibrahim’s passing, his sons, Capt. Samy and Capt. Hany, expanded the business beyond its oilfield roots into a wider maritime, offshore, and logistics group. Following Capt. Samy’s passing, Capt. Hany continued leading the group, preserving the founding values while strengthening its integrated operating model.
Today, Max Marine Group supports shipping companies, oil and gas operators, offshore contractors, and logistics partners through coordinated execution across Egyptian ports, free zones, offshore bases, airports, and inland interfaces.

Current Leadership
Chairman
Capt. Hany grew up working alongside his father and brother at Abu Qir. That background shaped his view of the job: fieldwork first, overhead second, and client relationships built over years, not contracts.
Under his leadership, the group has invested in people, vessels, operating bases, equipment, and service capability while preserving the family values on which the business was built: trust, discipline, responsiveness, and long-term relationships.
His connection to Abu Qir remains central to both his work and community contribution, with recent public recognition by the Governor of Alexandria during the governorate’s 71st National Day celebrations.
Investment in teams, welfare, training, and operational continuity.
Growth focused on assets, service quality, and dependable Egyptian coverage.
The principles that haven't changed since 1972 — and the ones we've added as operations have grown.
Max Marine Group is committed to transparent, accountable business conduct. Anti-bribery and anti-corruption standards apply across our subsidiaries, supply chain relationships, procurement activity, and daily operations — not as formalities, but as working principles.
