Operational Context
Diamond Offshore's Egyptian campaign ran four rigs in parallel across two coasts: the Mediterranean off Abu Qir and the Gulf of Suez oil province at Ras Ghareb, with movements routed through Hurghada on the Red Sea side. Coordination had to work across different port gateways, transfer routes and supply requirements while the offshore schedule kept moving.
Client Challenge
Four rigs split between the Mediterranean and the Gulf of Suez meant two operating theatres running in parallel, each with its own crew rotations, supply runs and customs requirements.
